Aureate - Limited Edition Print

  • This serene looking Hereford cow was chewing her cud at the center of a field when I can across her. At the edges of the field, in the hedgerow were two tiny little calves hiding in the shadows. She was calm, but kept her eye on me while I sketched and photographed her. The shadow of her head falling across her body is fabulous. I named her 'Aureate' which means 'having the colour of gold' as there was a golden sun on her accentuating all of the wonderful colours in her coat.

    About the Giclée process:

Giclée is an extremely high quality fine art printing process. Archival quality pigmented inks are used, which are UV stable and offer a lifespan of 100 + years.

Hahnemühle; a heavy weight, acid free, German etching paper, has a matt, watercolor texture and the attractive warm white shade of a traditional artist’s board. This mould-made paper is ideal for sophisticated colour reproductions.

All prints are signed and numbered by the artist.
