  • I was struck by how 'good looking' I thought this Charolais cow was - and ultimately that is why I chose to paint a portrait of her. I marvelled as how I percieved her face to be so serene and 'wise' looking. This particular painting has spured dozens of people to contact me over the years to arrange cattle painting commissions for themselves.

    Hahnemühle; a heavy weight, acid free, German etching paper, has a matt, watercolor texture and the attractive warm white shade of a traditional artist’s board. This mould-made paper is ideal for sophisticated colour reproductions.
